Major mess
Prosecutors on April 25 asked Judge Juan Merchan to hold Donald Trump in contempt again over alleged violations of the expanded gag order in the Manhattan hush-money case. The motion, filed after earlier contempt fights in the same trial, targeted statements prosecutors said Trump made on April 22, April 23 and April 25. Merchan ruled later, on May 6, and found only one of the alleged statements contemptuous.
