The Justice Department’s Epstein Library showed a last update of July 17, 2026, and the department says the site houses materials responsive to the Epstein Files Transparency Act and will be updated if additional documents are identified for release. The page also notes that the library may contain sensitive material and redactions intended to protect victims and other private individuals.

On the House side, the Oversight Committee said it published the transcript from Leon Black’s transcribed interview on July 17, 2026, and also released Doug Band’s transcript the same day. The committee said Black was interviewed on June 26, 2026, and Band on June 30, 2026. Those releases were part of the committee’s review of federal investigations into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The committee’s earlier Epstein-related transcript release came weeks before that: on June 23, 2026, it posted transcripts from Bill Gates and Lesley Groff. That separate release helps clear up the record around the committee’s Epstein material. Gates’s interview occurred on June 10, 2026, and Groff’s on June 9, 2026.

The clean takeaway is narrower than the surrounding noise: on July 17, the DOJ page was updated and the committee added the Black and Band transcripts. The Gates and Groff transcripts were not part of that July 17 posting. The Epstein file is still being assembled in public, but the dates matter, and so does the distinction between what moved on July 17 and what did not.
